Janet Kraemer, PhD., QME is a psychologist and qualified medical evaluator with more than 30 years’ experience treating people coping with serious and chronic health conditions.  She received her doctorate in psychology (health psychology proficiency) from Alliant International University – Los Angeles (CSPP) and completed her postdoctoral fellowship on the HIV service at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Kraemer initially became interested in pain psychology through her work with cancer pain.  She began to work with injured workers and chronic pain after relocating to San Jose, California in 2006.  Dr. Kraemer has spent the majority of her career in integrated medical settings because of her understanding of the need to treat the whole person.  In addition to helping patients with chronic pain rehabilitate, she also has experience working with injured workers who’ve had a TBI, trauma. depression and anxiety, as well as other serious injuries.
