NMCI Medical Clinic wants patients, families, attorneys and claims staff to be able to find what they need on this website, whether they use a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, a phone or a magnifier. We build and test the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1, Level AA, the standard most often used to measure website accessibility in the United States.
Every page was checked with automated accessibility testing against that standard before launch. The site is built to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link that skips straight to the main content. Every form field has a label that screen readers announce. Text and buttons meet the contrast requirements, and the layout adjusts to phones and tablets without sideways scrolling.
The site also includes the EqualWeb accessibility toolbar. Open it from the accessibility icon on the screen to enlarge text, raise contrast, highlight links, stop animations and more.
The videos on this site have captions. Turn them on with the CC button in the video player. If you need a written copy of a video, contact us and we will send it. Some content comes from outside services, such as maps, and we cannot fully control how those services work.
