Curtis Rollins, MD, discovered his passion for medicine after taking an anatomy and physiology course in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his Medical and Dentistry degree from The Medical University of South Carolina and pursued both his Anatomical Pathology residency and Forensic Pathology fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in California. Dr. Rollins' educational ambition did not end there. From 2005-2009, he undertook a second residency in Psychiatry at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. However, due to his spouse’s cancer diagnosis, he was forced to withdraw from his studies with only four months left in the program. He never went back to finish the degree.
Given his diverse professional and educational background, Dr. Rollins utilizes his comprehensive expertise to customize the best possible treatment plan for his patients. Without a doubt, NMCI is honored to have Dr. Rollins as part of the team of excellent providers at our Stockton and Sacramento offices. In addition to his 10+ years of experience in workers compensation, he has passionately served the community as a professor at UC Davis Department of Pathology, as a police officer in Charleston, South Carolina, and as a deputy sheriff in Sacramento County.
When not at work, Dr. Rollins enjoys all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, archery, and shooting. Although his family resides on their farm in South Carolina, he keeps himself in great company with his English setter, Bella.
